The mission of the Friends of Roseville Parks is to raise funds for projects in the parks in Roseville. If you wish to make an donation please go to our Donation Form page for all the information you’ll need for donating either by check or online via PayPal.
Above are images representing just a few of the many projects FOR Parks funds have gone towards: the fabulous tree and a set of custom-made display cabinets, including one for the bees, at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC); and funds towards the fireplaces in all six of the new park buildings.
In 2020, before the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic situation threw everyone’s lives into disarray, we had hoped host our 7th annual Tapped & Uncorked! local craft beer and wine tasting event at the Guidant John Rose MN OVAL. In lieu of this fun, live, too-many-bodies-too-close (!) event in late September, we might try a sort of virtual, online beer/tasting event on the same day (Sept. 25). Plans for this idea are in the very, very preliminary stages so please visit this event’s own website in late summer for information about this event, one way or the other. We sincerely hope to be back in 2021 for this fun fundraiser for the parks in Roseville!
Our other fundraising events in 2020 that have been impacted by the shelter-in-place /social distancing directive include the Spring Luncheon (to have been April 18) and the May 9 Designer Handbag Bingo (DHB); if we are able to have the planned November session of DHB, at Cedarholm Community Building, we’ll certainly let you know!
