THANK YOU to all who supported the 2016 Holiday Rose Gala! It was a lovely evening and it appeared we all had a very good time.
We were remiss in expressing our thanks to Haskell’s for providing their support to our cause when it came time for us to procure the wine to sample, sell and award at the ring-toss game.
Thank you, thank you, Haskell’s!
We welcomed back singer/guitarist Michael Johnson along with the opening duet, Skippin’ Stones. A full dinner and dessert buffet was catered by The Grateful Table (Fairview Avenue in Roseville), plus wine sampling and a cash bar.
We’ll had our usual gift card tree, silent auction tables, plus a spirited live auction with items such as use of a condo on Sanibel Island, FL, a week-long time share practically anywhere you want to go, and a private holiday lights tour for 14 people. It was quite a spirited and entertaining (not to mention lucrative for our parks!) live auction, thanks to auctioneer Kevin Holmgren. Thank you, Kevin – we hope you come back next year!
One of the charming aspects of our Gala’s location is OVALumination: a chance to look out at the OVAL at night and view all the beautifully lit trees, with speed skaters and hockey teams playing and families and individuals skating. Click the link here to see a video the Roseville Visitors Association put together about the OVAL, which shows some of these lit trees.
